Our Information, Advice and Advocacy service offers free and professional advice on benefits, housing, debt, disputes and other matters in Shepherd’s Bush offices.
This service is targeted to people from disadvantaged backgrounds primarily from the Somali community who are unable to resolve their problems independently. However the is open to all members of the community regardless of background, ethnicity, gender, religion of sexual orientation.
Specifically, we provide advice on the following areas;
- Assist with filling in forms, translations, phone calls as well as referrals to other specialist organisations and solicitors.
- Offer advice about, and assistance applying for, welfare benefits, loans and grants.
- Support clients in terms of finding housing and resolving problems with existing housing.
- Help to resolve disputes with landlords or debt agencies, etc.
We provide the above services in English and Somali.
We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 – 4:00 to provide advice. All bookings are by appointment only.

Please call our offices to make an appointment during our opening hours or drop in at our office. Home visits are available for the disabled and elderly.
